Hi everyone! Since 2020 I’ve been acting as a volunteer foster caregiver for cats through an organization called VOKRA (The Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association).

Every year VOKRA does a fundraising event called “Walk for the Kitties” where they work on raising their operating costs for the following year. This year my foster cat Pippin needed a complex surgery to save her eye from a growth, and it cost around $3,000. I’m hoping to raise enough money to help the foster organization cover the cost of that surgery!
To do this I created this Neko-Atsume parody cat cafe based on our fine city of Vancouver, and I’m offering to add your cat (or pet of your choice!) to the picture for a donation of just $10+CAD!
All the funds go to a very good cause, keeping the organization going so they can help all the cats in this city. They’re a no-kill shelter and cats like Pippin aren’t turned away because of the complexity of their case.
The walk is this SUNDAY Sept 7th and I will be doing a livestream after the walk to add all the cats and finish the wallpaper! So if you’d like to join in on the fun please donate then join me on twitch Sunday night to watch me draw all the cats.
